    Center Channel Recommendation

Can anyone recommened a center channel speaker that would work well with my current setup? I am powering 4 Speakercraft AIM8 three in-ceiling speakers and a MartinLogan Dynamo subwoofer with a Denon 3808. The rep at Magnolia recommended Monitor Audio R225 as a nice compliment to my system. Are there any better options out there (around or under $500) than the MA R225?

The best thing for you to do is go listen to as many center channels as you can to see what sounds close to your speakers. The companies that I like for center channels are Paradigm, B&W and NHT. Even some of the infinity centers are decent. Look for clarity in dialogue and tonal matching with your speakers.

I havent heard the Monitor Audio center but I own a pair of Monitor Audio S1 book shelfs and they are well made with pretty good sound. Its more of a neutral speaker to slightly warm.
