    New line looks intesting. Rotel takes their time to develop and launch new products and I respect that. You know it's got to be a real advancement. I'd like to hear from the forum just how many folks out there are actually using full 7.1 surround sound vs 5.1. I don't see how I'll ever need 7.1. My room is considered medium size and 5.1 is more than enough.

    I agree with you. I dont get the Idea of 7.1 SS. I tried 5.1 and returned the rear B&W speaks and went with 3.1 which is just fine for me. Most people have average sized rooms so whats the point of 7.1.
    I guess I watch alot of movies that are not al about special effects.
