    DYI Questions

    Hey peeps on the board.

So, I want to build some audio switches/splitters at home, on my own.

    1) Wandering a couple things, can anyone suggest a good blog/book/anything about audio wiring techniques/guides?

    2) A good online electronics parts store. (Or brick and mortar store around the Bay Area) You know, like RadioShack but with higher level components.

    Thanks
    -adam

I've always had good results with Parts Express (partsexpress.com). They pretty much cater to the DIY audiophile and have an amazing selection in their (free) catalog.

For a more sophisticated commercial parts store, Digikey.

Or for audio only stuff "mostly high end" components, not cheap, but knowledgeable.

Parts Express does sell assemblies and ready to use accessories, the two I listed are raw parts only.

In case you're very new, Audigon is where many of us go for used equipment.
