When I read the box I thought this was going to be the female version of Death Wish, but I like Jody Foster and picked it up. I was wrong this movie turned out to be so much more. I liked how they showed her dealing with her emotions and even though she bought a gun she really became sort of a vidgulanti by accident or incident. Some may wonder how one person could run into so much crime but do we wander the streets at night like she did, we might be surprised what we would find in the city streets at night. This is a good movie and story for anyone who don't mind some violence in the drama, or drama in their violence.

I got the shock of my life when I first started carrying a police radio,
I thought that I lived in a sleeply southern town, but that sucker ran all night.
I couldn't beleive that all of that was going on.
Burning the midnight oil?

I think Sarah McLachlan's song "Answer" kind of made the movie for me.
