    I need a concert buddy

Of Montreal is coming to town in October and I'd really like to see them, but Hubby can't stand them so it's not likely that I'll be able to convince him to go.

I need to find some real friends (as opposed to you virtual friends) who share my taste in music, to go to shows with. The venue is not a very good area for me to be wandering around alone.

Anyone care to come and accompany me? There's free beer in it for ya.

Toss in a plane ticket and I'm there.

I'll even buy you a beer.

I do have a smart husband. I decided to ask him if he's interested in going, even though I already knew the answer and his response was, "I'll go if you want someone to go with".

    He's a good man.

Sorry, can't make it. Let me know when Rush is back in town.

Are you kidding, with those fuel surcharges and taxes I can't afford a plane ticket.

I don't even know how to describe them. http://www.myspace.com/ofmontreal

Edit: I just listened to the My Space stuff and the older CDs that I have are more quirky and weird and less electronica. Now I'm having second thoughts about going to see them live.

Do you pick out their clothes too?

Can you get away with telling them something makes their butt look big?

Yes but only because they want an honest answer from me. Since I have no hidden agenda they trust what I think.
