    upgrading

If I was to upgrade something, what would I consider first? I'm using a pretty old technics btw.

    What you guys think?

    table
    cartridge
    tonearm

I think thats it. (unless there are some i dont know about)

Basically, What will give me the most sound quality for the cost. (general cost)

    seems like all of those

would be appropriate. sell the technics or keep it as a backup (a great idea btw).

go to audiogon.com and look at whats available. for one, a dealer demo of a mmf5 for $500. then go to the classifieds there and look. you will be a happy camper.
