    Marantz 2200

    Hello everyone,

    i have the chance to get a Marantz 2200 in good condition for 75 $.

    Is there anyone who knows this receiver? Pro's or Con's? Good for Home Audio (Classical, Jazz...)?

    paimutan, I own a 2225 & a 2275. They are both wonderful pieces.

    I assume that the 2220 is similar to the 2225 minus fives watts RMS. If this is true, it will drive most mid-sized speakers without issue and will handle 4 ohms with ease. Enjoy!

    Correction: now i have this Marantz 2200 It has 2 x 15 VA at 8 Ohm speakers. Wonderful piece, i like ist.
