    Has anyone heard of tube audio design TAD

    Just wondering

    not really,

    the only TAD I've heard of are these

    however, a quick google search made me know about which company you are talking...

    I don't know any of their products, what I do know however, is that their bookshelf speakers (which are often sold on audiogon), look really much like B&W 805's...

    Tube Audio Design are tube amps made in China and imported by BizzyBee. There was a very favorable review of the TA-30 a few years back in TAS. They have a rep of being excellent values for their money, much along the same vein as Antique Sound Labs (ASL) or Jolida, two brands you should consider as well. TAD simply isn't as well known.
