Not to beat a dead horse, but...

... according to posts from several folks here and elsewhere, and judging from the two currently listed on eBay, the Dual CS-5000 that I "won" for $300 was an outright steal! One sold for over $650, another for a whopping $800, and the two currently on eBay are at $500 each. I know that at $300 it's an outstanding value, but at $800, that "value" begins to diminish rather quickly, especially since brand new Rega models can be had for less.

Still, I'm sitting here pretty happy at the price I paid. It's nice to get a genuine bargain once in a while, isn't it?

It does sound like a good deal. Your table is the one that first made me aware of the benefits of a lowered counterweight for better tracking. I use the Michell Technoweight to acheive the same benefits.
