KEF XQ40 Speakers

Has anyoone had the opportunity to audition these speakers? If so please give me some advice. I can get these speakers for $2200.00 through a distributor. However they are not on display so I cannot audition. I have a Pioneer Elite VSX49tx receiver to drive these, I think that will do a fine job. Any advice will surely be appreciated

If you have 2200$ to spend on some speakers I would suggest you go around listening to as many as you can. If I am not wrong I believe they are fairly well regarded. I can't tell you from experience.

I understand these speakers retail for $3600.00 for the pair. To me $2200.00 is a bargain. I love Theils as well as Paradigm but cant get this type of deal on them.

I can't really help here, I do like Kef speakers, but perhaps someone else on the forum can give you some further advice.
