This is for your PC, right?

I have no idea, but the system has amazing reviews on Amazon so it's probably a safe bet.

If this set up is NOT for your PC, I would recommend something else.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. When you say it is for your pc and tv, what do you mean? Do you watch tv on your pc? If not, what size television do you have, how far away do you sit, what room is it in, stuff like that. Give us as many details as possible.

it's a pc product, it's ment for providing sound to games, not for listening to music. maybe some wacky mp3's, if you want music, get real speakers.

These speakers are designed for pc use but you can just hook em up to your DVD player aswell. A friend of mine has them hooked up to his computer & I personally think they're not bad at all, especially for the price. He's got a nice sound card too. At around 250-300$ they are quite a bargain IMO. The sub handles the bass pretty well. It digs into the low 30's. So.. consider them if you're tight on budget. We used them for new years and they did a very good job in a large 55 by 15 feet approx. living room.
it has several settings such as DPLIIx (music & movie), 4*stereo, DTS 96.
    Hope this helps, cheers
