    Saw Porky Tree last night

Wow, amazing show. It was my first time seeing them and I was in awe. They were dead on, played a great selection of tunes, and the sound in the venue was incredible. I highly recommend seeing them if you havent already.

*sigh* the last band I really want to see that I haven't, yet.

I'll just have to live vicariously through you guys -
Glad to heare you enjoyed the show Duds. I've heard nothing but good comments about their live shows - in an age where sarcasm and negativity seem to prevail that's saying something about a band.

    Any cool pics?

    Tree beats Pumpkin

I caught PTree at their Atlantic City stop this saturday, they were smoking white hot. Nice crowd, from 15 to 60 year olds with lots of female fans. This was my 7th Tree concert, been a fun ride to see them growing bigger every year, a far cry from 2001 where there were 50 people at Philly's TLA.

For contrast, the previous night I caught the Smashing Pumpins who've sold out 4 shows at the Tower Theatre. MEga popular. While they were good, it was a wall of distored guitar compared to the impeccibly balanced sound of the Tree. Can't blame the venue, cause I've seen many great shows sound-wise there, Mark Knopler for instance.

Pumpkin tickets were $65, PTRee tix were $25 and they were five times better imo, the worlds not fair.
