Ah, good ale and good music, the wonder of life, the élan vital, the happy mélange of the senses .. the good stuff. Yea, this last Built To Spill record is pretty great. Fine mix of all that was built and spilled before. Probably my favorite since Perfect From Now On, but I like them all. Thanks for the inspiration triggered by Big Daddy Swish to get it back in heavier rotation. Funny how many bands I listen to these days that sound kind of like Built To Spill. Looking forward to that new Wayne Robbins and the Hellsayers disc. And My Morning Jacket. Jason Molina. On and on. Got a 70s time warp sound in my head lately. Might just be the ale

Keep It Like a Secret and Ancient Melodies Of The Future are still better than You In Reverse. Perfect From Now On and You In Reverse are good, but just a tad too 'indie'.
