Need Some Outdoor Speaker Advice

I am trying to put some speakers on my deck. Since it is longer than wider (about 14' from the house and about 24' long), an installer told me I should go with 2 dual voice speakers as opposed to a stereo pair. First of all, any thoughts on that? Also, I am probably going to have to buy the speakers "blind" since none of the dual input speakers I am looking at are actually available for listening, any thoughts on brands I should look at? I can get a good deal on Klipsch AW-500-sm for $187 a piece. But again, haven't heard them.

I don't know much about dual voice speakers, except they're two
drivers sandwiched into one enclosure. Maybe your installer thought
this would provide for more bass? Any kind of decent bass is hard
to get from an outdoor speaker. The specs of the speaker you're
considering do look pretty impressive, but I've never heard of this brand before.

Niles makes about the best outspeaker you can buy....but they are
expensive. The reason for the expence is of course they last
forever and sound great. Another speaker to consider (which I have,
so I'm biased) is Boston Acoustics. They don't sound as good as
Niles, but they come close and put out a "reasonable" amount of bass.

I know they're probably way above your budget (cost is $329 a pair).
There are alot of cheap outdoor speakers out there, and alot of people
buy them, cause they figure what the heck, they're just for background
music, why spend alot?

You will probably use you outdoor speakers alot more than you think.
For parties, etc. In the spring and summer I listen alot to the
Bostons housed in my open air gazebo.

Anyways take a look at the Boston's if you decide you wanna go
with a speaker with great sound, and are extremely well built....
