    When you show your HT what DVD do you use?

    When you want to show off your Home Theater both for video and audio, what movie on DVD do you play?

    I have a THX,DTS & DD demo discs that have various clips from movies and THX/DTS intros. I've been using this lately.

    Some of my favorites though:
    U-571 = depth charged
    Master & Commander = The first attack scene. I think it's #4 (excellent surround)
    Hero = Blue room or Arrow scene
    Cars = Opening race scene
    Jurassic Park = T-Rex scene
    Toy Story 1 or 2 = Pick a scene
    House of Flying Gaggers = Lots of scene

    Lots more

    I use either Pearl Harbor, the bombing of is best or some scene from the 2nd modern Star Wars. I also have U-571, in addition to the depth charges shaking your innerds it has a lot of dark scenes that will test your TV's ability, or not, to show detail in them. I haven't seen Cars yet, I'm looking forward to it.

    Even though im not too big of a lord of the rings fan, the ending battle of Two Towers is my personal choice to show off.
    that makes as much sense as a drunken mongoose playing the piano
