    personal top albums

    Every post is about how to get the best sound, but this ones about whats the best to album to get the most enjoyment out your investments. my personal top 10 are:

    1. NIN - the fragile
    2. U2 - Joshua Tree
    3. Smashing Pumpkins - Rotten Apples
    4. Fatboy Slim - Greatest Hits
    5. Audioslave - self titled
    6. Maceo Parker - Life on Planet Groove
    7. Stone Temple Pilots - Purple
    8. Tea Party - Tangents
    9. Guns and roses - greatest hits
    10. Def Leppard - Hysteria

    "To get the most enjoyment out your investments", are you talking about:
    • Good music with great sound, or
    • Great music with good sound.
    If the former, my #1 is Reference Recordings' John Rutter: "Requiem"; (which is classical, sorry ). This would be followed closely by many others, but it's notable that several are on the Reference Recordings label.
