1. I think I would want a separate unit, filled with clean water, for rinsing after cleaning.
2. I would hope that the drying rack is super soft.
3. Personally, I wouldn't drip-dry, especially if not rinsing. I always dry with a soft cotton terrycloth towel, in a circular manner. That's just me; I could be wrong.
4. I wonder if the "label bowl" keeps the label dry?

Not bad. Looks like an idea I can use. I'm always trying to build things that other people buy. Just my thing; must've got that from my dad.

I've seen tha on some sites and looks pretty neat.
Do you have to buy "special" fluid?
I have to think it'll be just as good, if not better, to scrub manually. I dont think records are as delicate as some people think. Buy applying fair amount of pressure on wax with fluid with a brush, you can really get unwanted Funk outta there. Be sure to use plenty of fluid.
I'm not a big fan of DIY fluids, but whatever fluid you use, make sure it doesnt leave residue after drip-drying it. Like Tin said, it'll bee better to wipe it clean with "lint-free" soft cloth, then brush it with carbonfibre brush. It'll be best to rinse surface with distilled water, I'll say that device would be handy for that. When you use carbonfibre brush, you want to make sure LP surface is dry.

Hey, JRhyme, not to hijack the thread, but just as a quick aside, should I get a separate carbon-fiber brush to remove lint after drying?

My Sure M97xE has a carbon-fiber brush on it, which is supposed to discharge static, pick up lint, and act as a compliance something-or-other device. It does pick up a lot of lint.

What do you use right now to pick-up small particles before placing your needle? I use one by AudioQuest. I wouldnt recommend it for the price. You can get a same one that doesnt say AudioQuest for much less. http://www.turntablebasics.com/cleaners.html
It your cart-brush is picking up ALOT of lint, it may be creating distortion by dragging stuff along. It's certainly worth $10 for what it does.

Hey, Basite, I've been reading good things about the Knosti. If I could buy one here for around $62.50 (50 EUR), I probably would.

Looks like Germany is the place to buy it. They seem a bit overly proud of it at Ebay.be:

JRA, that offer was also attractive, but it's more expensive, and you probably have to pay shiping costs...
