I'm a huge fan of just about anything that Barry Levinson gets involved in. Diner, The Natural, and Avalon are three of my favourite movies. Sleepers, Wag the Dog...also brilliant movies, IMO.

I saw the trailer tonight for his latest film, Man of the Year, starring Robin Williams. I have to say that it looks very clever and I'm really looking forward to it's release. I haven't seen his name around much lately, and it's about time for his return.

levinson kinda has slowed down to a few projects over the last few years. i think he's still an exec producer on several tv shows, including Oz, but you'll be happy to know he'll have 3 projects out in 2007! after man of the year, he's in production on two more films What Just Happenned (with deniro filming now), and Brilliant (with scarlett johanneson up next) and a tv series called Three Pounds (another hospital tv drama).
