    Floorstanders

Goal: Name the best deal for a set of floorstanders that are in the price-range of $500-$1000. This price reflects only NEW, not USED pricing. You can also name the top 5 or so companies that offer great models in this range and let's see what type of results we get.

In that price range, better to buy standmounts and add a sub later,if needed. You would get more speaker for the money, sound quality wise that is.

Phasetech V-12's---1,000/pair. Most dealers would let them go for about $900/pair. Great 3 way towers with a great soundstage.

we have a pair of mission M35i's here, good extension down to 40htz, and a bit lower.
I highly recommend them, smooth natural sound, and they were about $1000 here in canada, so i'm guessing about $800 down where you are...
