    Toshiba 65H84

    anyone have this tv or seen the picture quality? thinking of buying a used one for 800.

    I have not seen it firsthand, however, I have owned 3 Toshiba's at some point or another in time and I have always been happy with their sets.

    The Toshiba 65H84 is one the last great RP CRTs. In fact, our own Sir Terrence the Terrible, who works in broadcast, bought it, as I recall, on a recommendation from Joe Kane, one of the founders of ISF. If the set is in good condition, and it looks like a safe purchase, you'd be hardpressed to find better picture quality at the price.

    Don't walk, run and get this RPTV. This is one of the best investments I have made in my hometheater. $800 is a steal, but it is a bugger to move.
