    Mission 780 problems

Hey guys wondered if you could help. My Mission 780s have spend a while in the cupboard and i got them out to start a new system in my study, problem is there is no bass whatsoever
being played through them, and no vibrations through the woofers at all i've checked the amp and all is fine on that end. I'm currently running them in again on low volume to see if they are just 'cold'. Any advice or suggestions, or will the woofers just need replacing?
    thanks

Pull the drivers and check the wiring. My guess is something came loose after all those years. You'll need to determine if it's the driver, the wiring, or something in the xover. I'm betting it's one of the latter. The 780 bass drivers are poly with rubber rolls so it's not like they're gonna rot. Mine have been going strong for almost 20 years now .

Good luck and keep us up to date.
