    Does this little puppy kind of act as a reciever, so you can play music off your computer directly into your speakers?

    It acts more like an extension of your computer, it provides a signal but no amplification. You would need to connect the AExpress to a receiver/amplifier or to self-amplified speakers.

    Computer>Airport>Receiver>Speakers

    ah, what are some self-amplified speakers in the 200-400 dollar range?
