    Any Greg Howe fans, here?

No he's not related to Steve Howe...

He is a virtuoso guitarist though, but more tuneful and tasteful than say a Malmsteen or Satriani, IMO.

Heard a few tunes off the Ascend CD and it has a real proggy sound to it, albeit with no lyrics.

Altho I got into his group Howe II (clever, huh?) with the '89 release High Gear and '90 release Now Hear This. Amazing stuff, but it has his brother Al on vocals, unlike the later releases that have no vocals. Reminds me a little of fusionistic Van Halen.

I also have Hyperacuity, which sounds more like it'd be along the lines of Ascend.

Incredible player, idden he? Let me know if you get Ascend, and we could be talkin' trade.

Oh Yeah! He is awesome indeed. I have a disk of Howe-Woote-Chambers called Extraction that kicks butt!
