    ARdiy's Another Look

    I just finished this pair of Ed's ARdiys for my brother-in-law. He wants to do the finishing himself. I trust him he is quite competent.
    This cabinet was a nightmare for angle cuts. The inner cab is 3/4 MDF and then sheathed with a 1/4" Oak ply. The trim and bases are solid mohagany. They are quite substantial. The speaker connects at the bottom of the stand, a hidden wire runs from there to the speaker cabinet.
    Just another idea on the merits of going the diy route, it unleashes the imagination.

    Sweet!

    Tell us how they sound?

    (My guess is that with that minimal front baffle & corrosponding lack of diffraction they should image like nobodies business!)
    Audio;

    I really don't like to go into how they sound; because Ed's design, in my opion (and many others) sounds great! Sound is very subjective. My goal here is to only encourage others to let their imagination free for new designs, get away from the regular box look.
