Finally, after over a month working around the sounds and video, I finally completed tonight. Need to calibrate the sound and yet, add some pix and few lighting system for the room then I'm done.
    The room is 15x17.
Mitsubishi 50" projection TV. (Flat panel is our future move.)
HarmanKardon AVR435 (seperate Amp is my future move.)
Front Speaker: A pair of old but yet, still impressive JBL lt100.
    Center Speaker: AR center speaker
    In-ceiling rear Seapker: paradigm -150R
Acoustic foams: Def help eliminated echos.

Thats a nice set-up, really clean. But like other people have said, how much does recessing a speaker into the wall effect it's performance?

I was worried about it too. With a huge amount of the pink packaging foams glued behind the TV, the speakers and the 2 horizontal walls sure tuned down the hum and the sound quality magnificianly improved. It surprisingly seems to be more accurate.
