    Buying a new Yamaha receiver with no warranty

    Ok, I am going to order my Yamaha RX-v2500 today. I can get it for about $550 shipped factory sealed, but the place I can order it from is not an authorized Yamaha dealer. This means Yamaha can choose not to honor any warranty. Would you guys just man up and pay the extra money and buy it somewhere authorized?

    Ok, well I hopped on Ebay and bought from a store in NY, they are authorized Yamaha and I got it for 590 shipped with a store receipt.
