Best sub for OVER 75 dollars? I'm a fan of the JL audio goliah myself, and it's more than 75 dollars. Why don't you check it out.

They'll never let you get away with a typo like this.

I don't know of any subs under $75.00.

Poke around in this link to see if you can build one for that. http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage....WebPage_ID=259

Bass-Bite from KLH, my nephew's use it in a gaming system. My nephews took this thing apart and filled it with some stuffing. They both sit about a foot away from it when they play games so they can feel the 45 hertz bass. I think it a 6" with about 50 watts peak power.

I get one two? I've had my eye on the MKIII lately. But I would settle for a pair of Legacy LF Extremes.

You can get the Yamaha 8" sub for less than $75. You might want to Dealtime/Pricegrabber/Froogle around for a lower price.

    Frequency Response: 23Hz-170Hz ± 24 dB

    Now that's a lot of + or -
    24db?

We can probably guess that the -24 dB is not at the 170Hz end. Not bad though, the power is only down 250:1 at 23 Hz. Heck, it might even be flat by 85Hz or so.

The good news is you can't set your large/small speaker switch incorrectly in your HT set-up. With this sub, you will probably get exactly the same results either way.
