    Amazing Sonics

    On another thread there is some discussion regarding the superiority of MoFi gold discs and other good-sounding releases.

    I have some MoFi CDs that are excellent - Most are very good - I have a few that are very ordinary.

    Almost ALL of my Japanese mini-LP remasters are every bit as good.

    As with anything else, some good, some bad......and it also has to do with the vintage of the technology and the original recording quality.

    As an example, I have some MoFi "half-speed-masters" vinyl that still sounds freakin' wonderful.
