One of the dumbest things I've ever seen!

    I'm actually somewhat speechless...

Of course, that could be from all the laughter ! Check out the price of this thingy and make sure your read the ad copy. I love the feeble attempts to incorporate "audiophile" terminology.

It kind of reminds me of my old laser machine, which in turn was a poor man's version of the Pink Floyd shows they would do at the Griffith Observatory in LA. With the right "assistance," you could easily burn a couple of hours just enjoying the light show and DSOTM.

Hey Speedy - didn't this used to be called a Lite-Brite? I had one as a kid but I don't think it was $500. If it was, then my parents were holdin' out on me.

I think the problem with the marketing is that they didn't mention how the strobing lights help clarify the audio signal. Everyone knows the speed of light is faster than the speed of sound. Therefore, highs are more extended and bass is stronger and faster because the changing light waves augment and shape the audio sine wave before it reaches your ears.

To really receive its full benefits however, well that requires magic sonic snot and a dead cat...

    It's only stupid if.....

You pay 500 beans for it. But for 50 bucks, sheeeit... I'd put it up in the basement, fire of the chalice burn some Hippie Lettuce and let the brain cells die.

How about leaving the plastic Xmas tree up year around? Less than $500 too.
