    Question Scratch remover for clear plastic?

    I bought a used cassette deck from ebay that is mint exept for a couple of small scuff marks on the clear cassette well door,my question is is there anything out there that will take them out of clear plastic without messing it up worse?Thanks for any help,Keith H.

    There is "plastic polish" that should do the trick.

    Call your local auto body supply store, or I found some online by googling "plastic polish".

    Some one also told me toothpaste like regular Crest brand works,has anyone else heard this?Peace,Keith H.

    water the toothpaste down until it is about

    the consistency of syrup or a bit runnier. It won't take much.

    I use Meguiars plastic polish. The container was $8 when I bought it over 10 years ago, but it has literally saved $1000 worth of unplayable CDs, DVDs, and games.
