    HAL - New CD

    I've just bought a new CD by an Irish band called HAL.

    I bought it after reading reviews comparing them to The Thrills. It's a good CD, just right for the summer. There are shades of the Beach Boys in there and possibly a little Mercury Rev. I'm not sure if it's been released in the US yet but it's getting well played in my car at the moment.

    I believe it's released in the US today. Caught mention of it in the AMG newsletter. I'll check it out. Oh yeah, Spoon comes out today too!
