Flower Kings - Adam & Eve - Revisited

I must say that I've come to really like the last FK CD.

Neal Morse could learn from the metaphysical musings of the 20 minute classic Love Supreme. This has to rank among one of the best FK songs, along with The Truth Will Set You Free from the previous CD.

And I really dig A Vampire's View with its campy broadway tune feel. It's just off-kilter enough to make it really interesting.

Like all FK CDs, there's probably a bit too much B class material to create a classic album from start to finish, but there aren't many bands doing that anymore.

I miss that these guys don't put out an album a year anymore, along with three or four side projects.

Too bad they aren't pushing east to Toronto on their upcoming N.A. tour. Montreal and Rochester are as close as they're going to get, and I'm still seriously considering the 3 hour drive to Rochester to see them.

I love this cd. It's chock full of killer TFK songs.

    Have you heard about Kino?

Oh, I mailed your 4 pack the other day! Only took me 3 months!

    Regards,

    Dave

For spring, that is. Never heard of Kino. Forgot about the package, so it will be welcomed into my home.

Hope all is well down in the warm South.

Heard some Kino. Sounded pretty lame-o.

If you like Cairo then you'd like this-o.

Considering the line-up (coined as yet another supergroup) I expected something different. The music was very ordinary to me. Nothing special. Just like Cairo.

    Do you have this?

    Negative, me no have Kino.

But most of these supergroups do stink.

Like Transatlantic is way ho-hum for me.

But that's just me, ya know.
