    I always found Robert Cray -- ever since I heard him for the first time on Strong Persuader -- a bit sterile. I suspect this goes away when "cranking it", but at (my) normal listening volumes, Gary Moore, by a long shot.

    Although my favourite blues guitarist is Albert Collins.
