Adding a subwoofer to NAD 3020

    Hey there

I'm a user of NAD 3020 and Wharfedale Diamond 8.1 speakers. I'm thinking of adding some small sub to fill out the bottom. Can you, please, tell how can I connect it to my amp? And which (not expensive) small sub do you recomment.

Use the speaker ins and outs on the subwoofer. You run the speaker cables from the amp into the terminals on the subs amp, from the amp and to the speakers. Look at HSU, I think they have a smaller sub in their line-up. SVS has one too, it's about $450 I believe. Don't settle for an 8" "subwoofer". They (well most) simply don't go low or loud enough, I wouldn't call them subwoofers atleast not at a low price.

i forgot, some subs don't have the speaker ins and outs like a just said. If it just has an RCA input, get a Y adapter and connect it to your left and right audio outputs. Than connect an RCA cable from that to the sub.
