    onkyo set up

anyone's thoughts or reviews on an Onkyo p-3150-v pre amp with an Onkyo m-5130 Power amp? I see it's rated at 105 wpc, but giveen my brief experience with older Onkyo amps...probably underrated?

yup, they're pretty underrated, not only the watts they put out, but also the amps themselves.

I dunno much about it though, they were some upper middle of the line quality (so a good bit above average...)...

What are you driving with them?

    Keep them spinning

I have four new POLK Monitor 60's towers that I intend to put with it. I had bought a new Harman Kardon 3485, thinking WOW an HK...at 120 watts...what a piece of junk...overheats...light flickering....not even two months old...so it's back to the old school for me.....if I win this bid...I am also bidding on an Onkyo M-5140.....also 105 watts...but I am thinking of bi-amping the rig to draw more bass out of my Monitor 60's.
