Anybody hear the A-25 of 1969?

I read this on CNET's audiophile blog - got me wondering, and I know there is history on this forum. Anyone have an opinion on at $2.5k version of the A-25 with a new 10" woofer?

    manufacturer site here: http://www.annandaleacoustics.com/

They kind of remind me of the AudioNote AN-E speakers.....for as much as the mid price DYI verisons.

Yes it looks a lot like the AN K. I have only heard the original and it is very possible that as with Snell that using much better drivers, cables and cabinetry that they would sound considerably better.

But I would also want to compare it to the AN K since they're both around the same price. The AN K has an 8 inch woofer but is 36hz -6db if placed in corners and 50hz-6db if not. They are also easier to drive 90db 1w @1m. You can't really go much by specs I grant you - it would certainly be fun to see if the new A25 can manage getting the 10 inch driver to mate well with the tweeter - but hey people say the same with AN's 8 inch and tweeter and it works spot on. SEAS drivers and avoiding the MDF is a step in the right direction.

thanks RGA, i was hoping you would get in on this.

mating a 10" woofer and tweeter seems pretty tricking, but, if they can, and for $2.5k, well, well,..
