So, how's the new live Rush live double live CD?

Saw it in the store yesterday & briefly wondered how it sounds. It's called Snakes & Arrows Live and was recorded during the 2007 tour.

I really don't care, but I'll probably pick it up, tape it & return it.

    More info here.

Uhh, it's Rush. How do you think it is?

I've been wondering that myself. I haven't heard anything about it. Their studio CDs have such poor sound quality that I don't really have much hope for a live disk to sound good. So I haven't really given it much thought.

Let me know how it sounds if you end up buying it.

look what it takes to get Stone to crawl out of the wood work. Rush...who would have thunk it?

I heard they're using a more porous material for the discs to help prevent the condensation from damaging or staining one's coffeetable.
So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"

...Stone crawled out from under a rock. That would be so lame. Kinda funny, but lame.

Surprise! This sounds damn good. A couple of the tempos are a little turgid (see Entre Nous), but all in all, a fine release from these veterans.
