    Akai

    yamaha 6.1 amp, and athena speakers. pretty low key. but its good enough for movies. my stereos are for my power.

    looks like a big beefy amplifier!!! maybe a dual mono design? what is the power rating on that? looks like a tank!

    its a monster.... i dont have any speakers that can handle where this thing wants to go. ive had it up to around 150 with 220 peak. and let me tell you thats a real rating, the wattage gauge goes up to 240 but it can go more then that. if you crank up the amp with just the volume control you can get it up there. "if i had more power thirsty speakers" and then on the right of the amp there is the input level dials. and thoughs are on half, and it seems like every time you turn that up one notch it almost doubles the power. basically right now im just calling it unlimited watts until i can get some cerwins or something that can take it.
