Sound Dynamics 300Ti

Hi All,

I'm writing about an oldie but goodie, the Sound Dynamics 300Ti, which was an amazing speaker in its day or any day, IMHO.

Does anyone have info or thoughts about driver replacements, especially for the mid-range?

I know there are many who love this speaker. The question is whether we can carry its legacy forward, as the original components are now more than 20 years old.

Try Madisound for available options. I know you just need to change the surround.

Thanks. I've spoken to Madisound. They sent me to MillerSound, who can replace the midrange surround, but they strongly recommend finding a replacement driver instead. So I'm looking to do both -- if I can find a suitable modern replacement I'll get it and then send the original for repair.
