This is a bad thing. Next thing you know they'll move on to retiring not just chords, but techniques like the pick-slide and the hammer-on. It's only a slippery slope to denying shredders the ability to lick and hump their guitars. Then, one sad day when no one is paying attention anymore, they will say you are no longer allowed pretend your guitar is a giant phallus as you strut around in your assless pants.
