Going to see Webb Wilder tonight.

I doubt many of you are familiar with him, but I really like his Rockabilly style, with tons of great guitar hooks ala Jason and the Scorchers. I'm listening to his "It Came From Nashville" reissue as I type this. The original from 1986 is regarded as his best and this reissue from last year only adds to it with many new tracks to make a total of 26. I only have this and "Acres of Seude", which, while not too bad, can't touch the reissue.

Anyway, the show is outdoors at Long's Park in Lancaster, PA, and it's FREE. I only hope we don't get rained on.

I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

I saw Webb in a little dive in Huntsville in '93- puts on a hell of a good show. Gotta love those vintage Rickenbacker guitars.

Ok, so I didn't go to see Webb after all. Freakin' rain!

Yeah, they were having scattered thunderstorms in Lancaster (daughter lives there) and, since it was an outdoor show, we decided to stay home rather than drive an hour to get there only to be stuck in our car. Now if I had paid for tickets, I would have gone just in case the rain would stop.

Wild, wacky stuff. And yes, vintage Rickies rule!

Sorry the weather didn't cooperate, dude.
