What's up with all the e-mail from AR Forums?

I got about 20 or so today, but the odd thing is that some are for posts that are more than a few days old.

Just wondered.

You have AR send you an email every time a thread is updated? Why don't you just visit the page? I mean, it's not as if there's so much action here that you'll overlook something.

...isn't a problem. I just got a plethora of e-mail from them yesterday, and most were days old. I normally see just a few each day, but like I said, there were something like 2 dozen or more yesterday.
