    Velvet Underground first lp, reissues

    An original just went for $60 on ebay. I'm stuck with a yellow vinyl ,180 gram,1983 reissue,that sound lousy to me.Is my hearing accurate? Are there any good reissues?

    dunno if it's any better sound-wise, but the Universal Records 180gm reissue is $20 at music direct. might be worth a shot. They show a Japanese 200gm version for $50. I've heard neither.

    I have this on MoFi gold disc and regular cd. The heightened detail on the MoFi disc is obvious.
