Tuesday Spins
It's been lots of Christmas music (and Blues) on the satellite receiver this week as we've decorate, cleaned, and set up our guest room for my mom's visit. Otherwise:

Paul Thorn - Ain't Love Strange
Various Artists - Blue Haze (Hendrix tribute)
Reverend Horton Heat - Spend a Night in the Box
Tom Waits - Mule Variations
Eve 6 - s/t
Hank Dogs (thanks richmon!)

Comps:
Pelv's 'Struttin' My Stuff' (superb)
Various Timemasheen discs/jack70 (always fun to listen to)
Also got stuff from JDaniel I haven't listened to yet -- 'preciate it, Jeff!

So what's in your wallet?

Swish
Lots of familiar stuff this week, and a few others.
The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow
Super Furry Animals - Phantom Power
Radiohead - Ok Computer
Calla - Televise
Lucinda Williams - Essence
Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism
Guster - Keep it Together
Nada Surf - Let Go

I'm holding off on the holiday tunes until tomorrow night when I'll be hosting a party for family and a few neighbors.

Big find this week was EZT's Goodbye Little Doll, referred to in an earlier post somewhere. Also, Josh Ritter's Hello Starling, which is very fine singer-songwriter disk with intelligent, engaging lyrics, and at times, overtones of Blonde On Blonde-era Dylan.

Band of Blacky Ranchette, Still Lookin' Good To Me
Neil Young, Decade
Decline of British Seapower
Lucinda, World Without Tears
Magnolia Electric Co.
Sun Kil Moon, Ghosts of the Great Highway
Wheat, Per Second, etc

and others...........
