Swishbaby is going to see the Shins finally.

I was really steamed when I missed them in Philly a couple years ago, and vowed I would get to a show the next time they ventured anywhere within a reasonable distance as they're one of my list of bands that 'I must see before I die'. Here are the dates they have set so far;

May 11 - San Diego, CA @ Soma
May 13 - Richmond, VA @ The National
May 14 - Washington, DC @ 9:30 Club
May 15 - Baltimore, MD @ Ram’s Head Live
May 16 - Philadelphia, PA @ Electric Factory
May 17 - Montclair, NJ @ Wellmont Theater
May 18 - New York, NY @ Terminal Five

Well, it's about time! Congrats Swishy, I know how long you've been wanting to see them. Thanks for letting me know that they're touring again. I'll keep my eye open for a local date. Does this mean that there's a new album on the horizon?

...know. I'm sure they're working on one, but I would be surprised to see it until late this year if not next year.
