    Swish is going to see Interpol! Yahoo!
    While they're opening for U2 at many big shows this summer, they are playing at the Chameleon in Lancaster on a Saturday night, sans U2 of course. If you want to catch them without U2, they're also playing in Allentown (you going Slosh :wink5: ), and a number of other places. I'm not a U2 fan and the tickets for those shows will be expensive and hard to come by, but if it interests you, here are the shows;

    My best friend Bob is going, and he's slightly older, and if two of our other friends go, they're also older than me by a year or so. Heck, I'm getting used to being an 'elder statesman' at most of the shows I attend. They're usually Indie bands (Shins, Decemberists, Spoon, Over the Rhine) so the fans tend to be a big younger. I saw plenty of gray hair at the last Wilco show though.

    If mine wasn't already completely white, that would be enough to turn it, I bet.

    I saw them a couple of years ago. Among the group I was with, I was the youngest one there (I was 45 at the time)... with the notable exception of my older brother's 24-year-old girlfriend. :crazy:

    I'd love to see Interpol. I've dug that band since day one. I had no idea they were opening for U2. I used to love U2, then I dunno, just kind of lost interest. Not sure why really but whatever. For once in my life I wish I lived a bit closer to Columbia, that'll never happen again : ) Have a great time - it'll be awesome.
