The other day whilst at the used CD store, I heard them playing Stephen Malkmus' new one, Real Emotional Trash. and I liked what I heard of it. He's still prone to jamming though. Not sure if I'm crazy about his post-Pavement output yet.

And the other day I heard a song on the cable from a band called Calexico, which took me to the used CD store. I didn't remember the song I heard on the cable, but I found a used copy of their Hot Rail album. Kinda experimental southwestern style music. I wonder if their newer stuff sounds like this?
