    Songs about Big Ladies.

Well I hope no one is going to be offended by this.

I started a thread while back called "Songs about masterbation".
Well I like to start a new one. What are some songs you know that are dedicated to FAT girls? Right now, I can only think about 5 or 6 that are memorable.

Here is 1 from me to get it started

Get your Weight Up - Storm the Unpredictable.

If for some reason you are not inspired by all of this, check out this link.

My favorite, Little Bit of Rosie by AC/DC. I believe Queen's, Fat Bottom Girl would count. I also remember something Spinal Tap did but I'm too lazy to go look. I think the woman in The Band's, Up On Cripple Creek is incenuated to be "big".

the let's "drop the big one" sentence is from his song "political science", don't think it's about fat girls, it is great song though.

don't know exactly or he wrote a song about fat girls, he did write one about short people though, altough, the actual short people won't actually like it i guess...

I dont understand why this thread is not bumping.

Fatchance by Mike Zoot. This album, Invasion America, is not very good, but I just listened to this song again and couldnt stop laughing.

BTW, I've done it once. It was a tuesday. What was I to do?

    No I have "The Winner"!!!

On our first album "You know that it's true" I wrote and sang a ditty called:

    wait for it...

    'Big Fat Woman".

    Go to:

    www,heyjocamo.com

For those with no time here's the lyrics.

    Big Fat Woman

Let me tell you bout this woman, bout this girl I found...
She's bout 5 foot 6, and about the same size around.
People say "she's fat" but that's all right with me...
Cause she knows how to love, she know's how please...

    (Chorus)
    She's my (Big Fat Woman)
She's my, cushon in my pushin'
    She's my, Big Fat Woman...
    She's my...

    She'll eat a Virgina Ham..
    Couple loafs of toast.
    Scramble up 3 dozen eggs
And eat a whole beef roast...
But I don't mind, my grocery bills sky high..
Cause she's my little sugar dumplin, she's the apple of my eye.

    (Chorus)

    She broke down my bed.
And my couch is catchin' hell.
She flattened two of my tires
And my shocks don't work too well..
But I don't mind, all the damange, all the damage that she do...
Cause she's my mean go getter, my bad ass Boogaloo.

    (Chorus to fade)

    Fat - Violent Femmes

    I hope you got fat
I hope you got really fat
Cause if you got really really fat
You just might want to see me come back
    I hope you got fat

    I don't care, I don't care
    How heavy or how skinny
    I don't care I don't care
No how heavy or how skinny
Just gimme gimme something to love

A little extra weight would never look
No nicer on nobody else but you
And I could always use a little bit more to hold on to
And if I get a fright in the middle of the night
    I'll cling to you

    I hope you got fat
I hope you got really fat
If you got truly fat fat fat

You just might want to see me come back

TI think the Spinal tap song was; "Big Bottom"

How about "Knife and a Fork" by Rockpile

A Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe band from their 1980 "Seconds of Pleasure" album:

"Eat, eat, eat, faster than a lick,
oh the way you stuff yourself is a dog-gone shame,

Girl you let a knife and a fork, call your hand
You gobble all the food in sight, that you can
If you don't change, some of your ways,
your gonna' shorten up your days
Girl you let a knife and a fork, call your hand

Wearin' a size 44, you have to turn sideways to get through the door,
Girl you let, a knife and a fork, dig your grave"

In perhaps a less celebratory fashion there is Morcheeba's Women Lose Weight featuring Slick Rick...
So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"

I'm still here, I just hang out at Fave Films mostly. It's goot to see/hear from you as well. I don't post much on Raves cause music is just so "personal" it starts so many flame wars, I just tend to avoid it sometimes. But yeah Swish, its good to see you too.

I cannot believe that the great, amazing, legendary, supremifically tri-hexadominant Freddie King and his "Big Legged Woman" hasn't been mentioned yet...
