I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

Wow. That's quite an impressive list. I barely remember those shows. I was a bit too young at the time. I wonder if they're available on DVD? I'd love to see some of them.

    RIP Don.

We had a station that played DK Rock Concert when I was a kid. We only had one TV and my parents played cards on Saturday night so we kids got the TV and rocked out. I remember seeing Hot Tuna you can add to your list. This was back in the era of......... was it Friday Night Special Wolfman Jack hosted? Thanks Don for being ahead of your time and bringing legendary Rock to a generation, and RIP.

RIP. The guy had perhaps more influence on pop music than even Dick Clark.

yeah, too bad old DK was kind of a tightwad. Videotape back then was very pricey, so a lot of those old shows were taped over to save money. His estate could of made a fortune off those shows, but it ain't like Kirshner needed the money.

Wow, they even had Weather Report, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Frank Marino on Rock Concert?
Repost this on your wall if you love Jesus.

They used to record a couple of seasons of the DK Rock Concerts in Long Beach and they would give away the free tickets at Licorice Pizzas, so we would hit-up a bunch of stores and get tickets to all of the days of filming. I saw the following Bands from Swishy's list:

    Black Oak Arkansas
    Foghat
    Golden Earring
    Montrose
    New York Dolls
    Rush
    Marc Bolan and T.Rex
    UFO

There were probably others, but since this was back in 75 & 76, I have probably forgotten some
