Need help hooking up my Turntable

to my (New Mac Pro) Computer, it is an old Technics, with the RCA outputs and a ground wire.

Anyone doing this????

Well, you are still going to need to work in a phono preamplifier into the equation. The RCA's from the tt go to the preamp. From the preamp to the PC you're probably going to need a stereo RCA to miniplug to fit into the input of the sound card. At least that's how you accomplish this with a PC. Mac may somehow be different.

Depending on how perfectionist you want to be you can maybe get by with an inexpensive preamp. I know they abound on Ebay. I found a cheap recoton at Best Buy years ago before I had a real phono preamp. Worked just fine.

I had about 2 minutes here at work yesterday to type the above reply up. Reading it today I realized that I said you could maybe get by with an inexpensive sound card. Oh course that was supposed to say preamp.
